Do you pick School of Nursing or University??? part 2
Oh let's get down to the cons. This may get a bit controversial
and emotional.
and emotional.
SON cons:
- Sometimes, I said sometimes ooo, the tutors treat the students like they are still in primary school. It can be quite annoying but once you graduate you laugh it off.
- The clinical posting were a lot. But then the experience is worth it.
- You may feel like you have not completed your education because your childhood mates all have degrees. So you need to get into a University which is another 4 years. It is tedious.
University Cons:
- Hostels/living accommodations were "ewwish''. But you can live outside the campus if you want to.
- Some schools have common lecture rooms with other departments. Like you will have same anatomy classes with radiology, physiotherapy students, medical lab. students and medical students. Trust me the lecture halls are always packed. At first, we woke up by 6 am to secure a space for lectures.
- I am inclined to think the fees were higher.
